The Youth Action Board (YAB) is an empowering and impactful group dedicated to addressing youth homelessness and housing instability in the Utah Balance of State. The YAB envisions a future where youth are at the forefront of decision-making processes, bringing their unique voices, perspectives, and expertise to the table. By partnering with community stakeholders and organizations, we are dedicated to preventing and ending youth homelessness in the Balance of State, ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and inclusive community.

What is required of our members?

  • Be between the ages of 16 – 24. 
  • Living in one of the following counties
  • Current or previous experience of homelessness or housing instability.
  • Limited positions available for youth that have not experienced homelessness, but are passionate about making a difference.
  • Willingness to learn and have a passion to end youth homelessness.
