  • Where do I begin?
  • Emergency Shelter
    • Lantern House: provides shelter, food, housing assistance and case management support to those experiencing homelessness and hardship throughout Northern Utah.
    • Your Community Connection: provides shelter, supportive services and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault, as well as education, awareness and resources.
    • Youth Futures:  provides shelter, resources, guidance and diverse support to homeless, unaccompanied, runaway and at-risk youth in Utah.
    • Family Promise: Family Promise of Ogden is a shelter for homeless families, with young children. Family Promise also offers a day center that has showers, laundry, and child care.
  • Mental Health
    • Weber Human Services: Weber Human Services provides community mental health services to residents of Weber and Morgan Counties.
    • Midtown Clinic: Behavioral health services provided at a discounted sliding scale.
    • Aloha Behavioral Consultants: Provides comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment and mental health care for families, children, and adults.
    • Family Counseling Service of Northern Utah: Family counseling services for individuals, couples, and families regardless of income.
    • Ogden Regional ACT Program: Alcohol and Chemical Treatment Center offers intensive intensive outpatient and impatient treatment programs for substance use disorder.
    • Weber Recovery Center: (Men only) provides treatment for adults who struggle with both substance abuse disorders and mental health issues. 
    • Brighton Recovery Center: Offers a variety of treatment options for mental health and substance use disorder.

  • Food Assistance
    • Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank: Distributes food resources to those in need at a grocery store style facility.
    • Salvation Army: Food pantry that has a drive through food box distribution five days a week. Also offers daily sit-down meals and ‘to-go’ lunch bags.
    • Ogden Rescue Mission: Offers thee daily meals as well as packed lunches for working guests.
    • St. Anne’s Soup Kitchen: Offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. Also provides take home food boxes, hygiene kits, and clothing.
    • The Shepherd’s Bowl Community Lunch: Every Wednesday the Episcopal Church of Good Shepherd distributes a sack lunch meal. Open from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Location:  2374 Grant Avenue, Ogden, UT. Contact: (801)-392-8168.
    • Morgan Senior Center: Offers a meals five days a week for those over 60. Suggested donation of $4.00.
    • Golden Hours Senior Center: Offers a meal five days a week for those 50 and over. Aged 50-59 $7 dollar fee and those 60 and over suggested donation of $4.00.
  • Other Resources
    • Cottages of Hope: Offers a variety of services for those in poverty including: financial education, employment coaching, support services, ID/Birth certificate assistance, tax prep, and computer access.
    • Road to Independence: Independent living services for all ages and types of people with disabilities. Such as housing navigation, life skills, advocacy, and transportation.
    • USARA: (Peer Support) provides short-term peer coaching in healthcare and emergency settings, long-term peer recovery coaching, and family support services.
